When is the Birds of a Feather Christmas special on TV, who’s in the cast and what’s it about?
Dorien and Sharon and Tracey are back to bring some festive cheer
OUR favourite suburban ladies from Essex are back to grace our screens this Yuletide with a Christmas special.
But this time, Dorien and Sharon and Tracey won’t be wrapping up warm in chilly Chigwell but sunning themselves in Morocco instead.
But what’s in store for our beloved trio? Here’s what we know about the feature-length special.
What is the Birds of a Feather Christmas special all about?
Dorien Green, Tracey Stubbs and Sharon Theodopolopodos return for a brand new story which sees them spend the festive season in Morocco.
The ladies head to Tangier to search for Tracey’s son Travis who has disappeared while travelling on his gap year.
While in the city, they come across Dorien’s love interest Vince who is running a bar and shows them his CCTV footage which shows Travis being arrested in a police raid.
Cue misunderstandings and mishaps as the girls find themselves trapped in Morocco with a dodgy gang after them as they try to get back home to Chigwell for Christmas.
This is the first time in 20 years the Birds of a Feather Christmas special has been set abroad, having previously spent festive seasons in America, Berlin and Ireland.
Who’s in the cast?
Lesley Joseph stars is back as Dorien Green, Pauline Quirke returns Sharon Theodopolopodous and Linda Robson reprises her role as Tracey Stubbs.
Tracey’s son Travis is played by Pauline’s real-life son Charlie Quirke with Samuel James starring as Tracey’s other son Garth, replacing Busted star Matt Willis, who played the character in 2014.
Actor and former Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp plays Vince, first seen in January 2016 as a mourner at Darryl Stubb’s funeral.
- The Birds of Feather Christmas Special airs on ITV on Christmas Eve at 8pm on ITV
