Emmerdale SPOILER – Aaron sees red and steals money from Rebecca’s safe

LIFE since Robert proposed to him hasn’t quite been the bed of roses Aaron might have expected.
Not only has he got his hands full with little sister Liv, but looming large is the prospect of Rebecca getting her claws into his fella.
“This is the first relationship that Aaron’s had with a lad who’s very open that he’s bisexual,” says Danny Miller, who plays Aaron.
“Here you have Rebecca, who’s got loads of money and a history with Robert – so Aaron is filled with jealousy. He’s worried that she can offer Robert something he can’t.”
A tactless remark from Rebecca about the money he got from his abusive father makes Aaron see red.
Out for revenge, he breaks into Home Farm and steals loot from the safe, which he hopes he can use rather than touch his dad’s cash.
“Aaron is convinced that Rebecca was trying to have a dig at him,” reveals Danny.
“His hope is that he can use the money to get a deposit for The Mill. But he hasn’t thought of the consequences, especially as he’s still on licence and could be sent straight back to prison.”
There’s also troublemaker Liv for Aaron to contend with. But as he tells her they may be moving into a new home together, is he biting off more than he can chew?
“Aaron wants to create his own way of dealing with Liv so that she can have freedom, but he knows she’s still got that love at home when she wants it,” adds Danny.
“But I don’t think he realises just how much she’s going off the rails.”
Laurel reaches breaking point
Laurel is eaten up with guilt after locking Ashley in his bedroom overnight.
But as she begins another hectic day, she takes her husband back upstairs ready to do the same again while she pops out to get fresh nappies for baby Dotty.
What happens next – Ashley locks himself in the bathroom and runs a bath – makes Laurel realise that daycare help is the only option.
And a chat with their pal Emily, who reveals she regrets not getting help for her own husband sooner, seals the deal.
Carer Will promptly arrives at the Thomases’ and serenades a confused Ashley with his guitar. But just as things are looking up for the troubled family, disaster awaits them on the pirate ship…
New client Lydia slaps Paddy!
Fair play to Paddy.
He is trying to move on from Rhona, but whether rekindling things with Chas is a good idea remains to be seen. Marlon doesn’t think so and tells his best pal that he’s punching above his weight.
After the arrival of his decree nisi, Paddy tries to cheer himself up by going for a drink with new client Lydia and her poorly cockatoo.
But Lydia proves rather keen on the vet and Rhona comes to Paddy’s rescue – resulting in a slap from Lydia!
When Lydia shows up again, Chas concocts a plan to save Paddy that does, sadly, involve another slap.
Try Tinder, Paddy.
