EastEnders fans in frenzy as ‘Paul Coker’ is spotted in Lee Carter robbery storyline
The character died just months ago in shock scenes, but could BBC bosses be planning a dramatic comeback?
EASTENDERS fans have been sent into a frenzy as they claimed to see 'Paul Coker' in recent scenes - despite the character being killed off months ago.
Fans caught a glimpse of his work colleagues in the new scenes, who were also involved, and one of them noticeably looked like actor Jonny Labey, who played recently departed Paul Coker.
The lookalike appeared just days after stars tweeted last week that they had spotted "Paul" back on screen in another scene.
One fan tweeted at the time: "Was that just Paul Coker or do I need new contact lenses???"
While another added: "Anyone else think that was Paul at Lee's work then?"
And one added: "I thought that was Paul Coker with blonde hair then!"
However, unfortunately for many fans who have been calling for his return, Paul won't be coming back.
The character in last night's show is actually called Connor and is played by actor Ross Anthony-McCormack.
Meanwhile, Lee was revealed as the mastermind behind the whole robbery last night.
The telesales executive - who is played by actor Danny-Boy Hatchard - was revealed to have planned the entire thing in a desperate attempt to make money to clear his debts.
As the Carters struggled to get over the violent robbery, Lee was left feeling guilty for some reason and it was soon revealed that he had covered up evidence of the identity of the robbers.
Lee's wife Whitney broke down as she confessed she didn't feel safe in the pub anymore, but it was Mick and Linda who were left most distressed after the robbers threatened baby Olly in order to get away.
But as Lee got ready in the morning, he grabbed a wallet from his bedside drawer and it was revealed to belong to one of his co-workers.
Arriving at work, Lee kept his cool as the three bullies arrived and tried to wind him up.
But clutching the wallet, proof of who was behind the robbery, Lee seethed before snapping and jumping up at Oz.
Throwing the wallet down in front of them, Lee told them he knew what they'd done and with his bosses watching, reluctantly agreed to deal with them after work.
"Don't act like this is nothing. Now my whole family are terrified. My baby brother can't even sleep because of what you did, you're sick.
"I weren't expecting you to come in with bats."
And then Osman revealed that Lee was behind the robbery and had planned it all out.
"It was your plan, yeah, your idea so don't go blaming everyone else," he told him as Lee began to realise what he'd done.
Later, the gang of four rowed as Oz split the cash to give each other £1,250, but then the bully refused to give Lee his cut, which pushed Lee to breaking point.
He sobbed as the gang walked away, leaving him with nothing.
While the Carters were in the dark about who was behind the robbery, viewers
