MYSTERY SOLVED

Marnie Simpson insists boyfriend Lewis Bloor ‘unfollowed her on Twitter by accident’ not because they had split

The reality star is adamant her relationship with Lewis is going just fine

MARNIE Simpson has revealed she’s very much together with her boyfriend Lewis Bloor and that his social media snub last month was an accident.

The Sun Online revealed Lewis had unfollowed Marnie after insiders revealed she was getting flirty with her ex-boyfriend and Geordie Shore housemate Aaron Chalmers.

Marnie’s insistent it was an accident however, saying: “It’s true that Lewis unfollowed me on Twitter but he did it by mistake.

“I don’t know how people even saw it – everyone else noticed before we did.”

As The Sun Online reported, Marnie was spotted getting close with Aaron during a night out with the cast in late November.

An onlooker, who partied alongside the cast in Newcastle this week, reveals: “Marnie was getting very flirty with Aaron.

“There wasn’t anything more to it but it seemed she wanted to get a reaction out of him… at one point she even started grinding against him.”

Just days later, Lewis began posting cryptic tweets online, including: “Never been so frustrated in all my life.”

Before she started filming for the current series, Marnie revealed she had her boyfriend’s full trust.

She said: “Lewis is not worried about Geordie Shore. He knows me.

“There’ll be a lot of arguing between me and Aaron, so Lewis has nothing to worry about. Lewis knows a lot about me and I’ve told him so much.

“There’s not a question we’ll survive this.”

Although Lewis has been honest about wanting Marnie to quit the MTV show that made her famous, Marnie has admitted she won’t be leaving anytime soon.

Writing in her column for Star Magazine, she said: “Lewis said he’d love it if I didn’t go back in Geordie Shore, but he’s really supportive and would only want me to leave if my health suffered.

“I wouldn’t quit the show for a relationship again.”
