Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards reveals she ‘loves a break-up diet’ as Jesy Nelson admits they felt ‘caged’ in relationships
The pair get candid about heartbreak and reveal that life is one big party now they’re free and single
JESY Nelson and Perrie Edwards have both endured the heartbreak of having engagements come to an end, however they admit they know how to make it work in their favour in the form of getting fit and no longer feeling “caged.”
Jesy and Jake Roche from Rixton ended their engagement last month, while Perrie’s wedding to Zayn Malik was called off in August 2015, so in a recent interview the Little Mix ladies were asked who post breakup was most likely to cry into a tub of ice cream, and who would rather hit the gym.
“Me and Leigh-Anne are more exercise, these two are the ice cream,” Jesy told new! magazine, referring to Jade Thirlwall and Perrie.
Perrie agreed, adding: “Actually… yeah [laughs].”
However Jade reckons that all four of them look in good form whenever they come out of a relationship.
“Don’t you think whenever we end up a relationship, we all get quite hot bodies? If I do say so myself [laughs].
“I feel like whenever one of us splits from someone, we always have a post break-up glow going on.”
“Everyone loves a break-up diet,” confirmed Perrie.
And when they’re not between ice cream and the treadmill, Jesy and Perrie admit that love going out now they’re to “caged” in a relationship.
“Perrie and Jesy are the party animals,” revealed Jade.
“Oi, oi, oi! We never used to be like that,” said Perrie.
“We were caged!” added Jesy.
To which Perrie said: “We were! We all take turns.”

“I know that happened with Jake and Jesy when they got engaged. There was immediately so much pressure from everyone and in the press.
“People keep asking when they were getting married and I was asked when the wedding was.”
When asked if they pair had officially split, she continued: “Yes they have split up. But it’s been kinda amicable and they are both dealing with it really well… and their both friends.
“It’s hard to deal with, especially when you’re young.”
