Mariah Carey takes to the stage with backup dancer beau Bryan Tanaka as he declares his love for her
MARIAH Carey's new beau Bryan Tanaka has declared his love for the singer - as the couple took to the stage to perform a Christmas concert.
The We Belong Together performer recently went public with her new relationship, just months after her engagement to billionaire James Packer came to an end.
And on Monday evening, the couple appeared on stage together for the opening night of her Mariah Carey: All I Want For Christmas Is You shows at New York's Beacon Theatre.
Wearing a striking white gown, Mariah clutched Bryan's hand as she sang her classic Christmas hit, before he lifted her onto his shoulders alongside another dancer.
The night before, the couple attended the official launch of her E! docu-series, Mariah's World, and the 46-year-old looked completely smitten with her younger beau as they cosied up to each other.
And speaking to E! News, Bryan, 33, admitted the feelings were mutual, saying: "I've always had a thing for Mariah. I love her so much.
"We've been friends for a long time. I do a little dance move here and there and we have a good time. It will be fun."
Bryan served as one of Mariah's back up dancers on her recent Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour, but have grown even closer since the shows came to an end.
He continued: "Something connected with us back in the day and there was just a mutual admiration.
"She saw something in me that I actually didn't recognise at first, from that it was over.
"It was set in history that we were gonna be connected some way, some how."

The singer did discuss their longtime friendship though, adding: "It's really nice, especially when you've worked with somebody in the past and then you get to work with them again and just see how everybody's grown creatively and all that."
The new couple recently returned from a holiday in Hawaii, and Mariah showed off her tan in a cleavage-baring mini dress for the programme's launch.
The sheer mini dress featured a nude underlay to protect the star's modesty while her figure was highlighted by black net detailing and diamante beading.
She completed the look with black fishnet tights, a diamond necklace and sparkling heeled sandals.
Her long locks were styled into a glamorous curls while she wore flawlessly applied make-up and accessorised with a diamond stud and butterfly ring.

Mariah's nine-month engagement came to an end in October after James reportedly ended things with the iconic diva over her “extravagant spending” and disagreements over her fly-on-the-wall reality show Mariah’s World.
A source spoke Australian Mag Women's Day and said: “James had huge reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world.”
The magazine also claims that James has “allowed” the singer to keep her extraordinary £8million engagement ring.
