Lee broke down in his mums arms as what he'd done set in, but viewers are calling for his blood

"Can he get any lower?" asked one viewer. "I had a feeling he was behind the stolen money, he's a cockroach."

"Get rid of Lee!" demanded another, while a third said: "How could Lee do that to his family SERIOUSLY #EastEnders."

A fourth added: "How can Lee do this to his family, bloody a*******.";

The furious reaction came as the Carters struggled to get over the violent robbery, Lee was left feeling guilty for some reason and it was soon revealed that he had covered up evidence of the identity of the robbers.

Lee's wife Whitney broke down as she confessed she didn't feel safe in the pub anymore, but it was Mick and Linda who were left most distressed after the robbers threatened baby Olly in order to get away.

But as Lee got ready in the morning, he grabbed a wallet from his bedside drawer and it was revealed to belong to one of his co-workers.

Arriving at work, Lee kept his cool as the three bullies arrived and tried to wind him up.

He raged at Oz for putting his baby brother in danger, despite him being the one to plan it

But clutching the wallet, proof of who was behind the robbery, Lee seethed before snapping and jumping up at Oz.

Throwing the wallet down in front of them, Lee told them he knew what they'd done and with his bosses watching, reluctantly agreed to deal with them after work.

"Don't act like this is nothing. Now my whole family are terrified. My baby brother can't even sleep because of what you did, you're sick.

"I weren't expecting you to come in with bats."

And then Osman revealed that Lee was behind the robbery and had planned it all out.

"It was your plan, yeah, your idea so don't go blaming everyone else," he told him as Lee began to realise what he'd done.
