Noel, 55, said on Matt Morgan's podcast: "I'm in Claridge's…

"There's building work going on at my new flat in Maida Vale, so I'll be looking over that."

The Wonderwall singer is making the most of his temporary accommodation in Mayfair.

The rocker added: "I'm going to see Oppenheimer, going to have a couple of boozy lunches, nights out, that sort of thing."

The High Flying Birds frontman snapped up a bachelor pad in West London following the breakdown of his marriage to Sarah, the mum of his two youngest sons.

Noel previously revealed: “I bought a new house in London, a new apartment.

“What I’ve been doing the last few months is furniture-shopping.

“Finding vintage furniture is what I like to do at the moment.

“There’s a website called FirstDibs, which is great. I like Seventies furniture. I’m getting into the Seventies thing.

“Not like shag pile rugs and carpet on the walls but really cool Italian stuff.

“It’s amazing. It’s going to give me something to do on my days off on tour — finding out where the cool furniture shops are to pick things up for my new house.”

He once owned an infamous party pad in North London dubbed Supernova Heights, named after 1995 Oasis track Champagne Supernova.

He sold it to funnyman David Walliams and moved out of London in 2019 when he and Sara swapped the capital for a rural pile in Hampshire.

Noel still owns his Hampshire home, but is now back in his old stomping ground and enjoying being back in the thick of the action.

During an interview in Germany, he said of living in trendy Maida Vale: “There’s Chrissie HyndePaul WellerGlen Matlock from the Sex Pistols, Adam Clayton from U2. Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones.

“I run into Glen quite a lot because he goes to the cafe which is on the way to the pizza restaurant that I go to.

“He goes, ‘Alright mate, do you need a bass player?’ I’m like, ‘No, I’ve already got one’.

“I see Weller a lot, I see Chrissie from time to time. But I guess I’m the most active.

“I think I’ve seen Weller in the supermarket once. I’m always the one in the queue buying milk.”
