What time is Brits Icons: Robbie Williams on tonight, what songs will Robbie perform and what’s it about?
The former Take That star performed a special one-off concert to celebrate his special accolade
HAVING been a major player in the pop charts for over 25 years, it came as no surprise when Robbie Williams was awarded a Brits Icon lifetime achievement award.
And to celebrate being bestowed with the coveted accolade, the singer put on a one-off concert in London in November.
The show was also recorded for ITV - but when does it air and what will Robbie be singing? Here’s’ what we know.
What is BRIT Icons: Robbie Williams about?
It is a special show celebrating the career of Robbie Williams after he was awarded the Brits Icon lifetime achievement award.
It was filmed at the Troxy venue in London where the pop star performed some of his greatest hits and told his life story to the audience, with clips of interviews with people who he has met and worked with in his career, including Kylie Minogue and Nicole Kidman.
What is the Brit Icon Award?
The accolade is the highest accolade bestowed by the British recording industry's flagship ceremony and it's presented to artists whose writing, recording and performances have set them apart as having made a "lasting impact" on the nation's culture.
Only two other artists have won it – Sir Elton John and David Bowie.
Robbie was awarded the gong at the concert but will also receive it during the Brit Awards which take place in February 2017.
What songs will Robbie be performing on the show?
The 42-year-old treats his fans to many of his well-known hits including Let Me Entertain You, Angles, Millennium and Rock DJ as well as tracks from his latest album, The Heavy Entertainment Show.
He will also be joined by former bandmates from Take That to perform two tracks – The Flood and Back for Good.
What time is it on ITV?
The show will air from 9pm to 10.25pm on Monday December 5.
It will then be available to watch on The ITV Hub straight after.
