FOOTBALLER'S wife Rebekah Vardy SLAMMED Piers Morgan for calling her a WAG during a chat with her Leicester City ace husband Jamie.
She made her feelings about the collective abbreviation for the 'wives and girlfriends' of sports stars perfectly clear during a recorded chat aired during today's Good Morning Britain.
Piers asked her what life was like as a "Chief WAG" to which Rebekah frostily replied: "It's a bit derogatory.
"I'm not just a wife and girlfriend I'm a mum."
Earlier she heaped scorn on the phrase and said: "Oh come on Piers that term is so dated.
"You can think of something better than that surely?"
Piers then asked: "What are we going to call you if we can't call you WAGS?"
With husband Jamie keeping quiet at her side, she swiftly retorted: "My name, like I'd call you yours."
The reply seemed to flummox the ITV host who gave her a nod and said: "Good answer."
