Noel Gallagher swiftly leaves London bar after awkward run-in with brother Liam’s son
NOEL and Liam Gallagher’s never-ending feud means they haven’t spoken for years.
And in an awkward run-in, Oasis guitarist Noel dodged coming face-to-face with his nephew, Liam’s model son Lennon, during a boozy night out.
Following a headline show at South Facing Festival in Crystal Palace, South London, on Friday, the High Flying Birds frontman headed to high-end nightspot Chiltern Firehouse in the West End.
A short while later a wide-eyed Lennon arrived at the same place — prompting a swift exit from his famous uncle.
A source said: “Noel and his daughter Anais got to Chiltern Firehouse for a night out together to celebrate following his show.
“But the atmosphere there changed when Lennon arrived.

“It was just awkward and they didn’t want any trouble.
“It’s no secret that Noel and Liam’s relationship is fractious, and that extends to their kids.
“Liam’s kids Lennon and Gene have publicly badmouthed Noel and Anais before, so they weren’t exactly thrilled to see him there.
“Less than an hour after Lennon arrived, Noel and Anais were out of the door, heading home.

“It was understandably a bit of a buzz kill. But thankfully it didn’t escalate.”
Lennon, who was carrying a guitar with him, has been fairly well behaved when it comes to his estranged relatives but did take a jibe at Anais, a photographer and model, in 2017.
She had posted on Twitter: “I need love today.
“I’m feeling super fragile and basically need a boyfriend. But keep reminding myself I’m too embarrassing to get one!”
He then sarcastically replied: “Really?”
Though that was nothing compared to his younger brother Gene, who has had a cruel and barely literate pop at her looks.
After she was a guest at a Tommy Hilfiger fashion show, he tweeted: “Firstly, u look like ur dad w a blonde wig on . . .
“Secondly, u model coz u look like ur dad not coz of who u are nobody care about who u are lmao.”
Noel and Liam haven’t spoken since their huge fallout in 2009 which spelled the end of their superstar band.
But they do trade plenty of insults.
This year there has been a ton of talk about a thawing of relations between the brothers and a potential Oasis reunion.
But from what I’ve heard from reliable sources, that isn’t happening any time soon.
And judging by this latest run-in, the families aren’t keen on making amends either.

US sources say the singer gave £80k to each of the 50 production drivers who have been lugging her equipment around the States since the tour kicked off in March.

LIAM TO BRING OUT THE PAYNE
THE only direction is up for Liam Payne after finally finding peace following the break-up of One Direction in 2015.
The Strip That Down singer has told of how he was left “scared” by overnight stardom, admitting the majority of his solo singles have been collaborations as he didn’t think he was good enough to go it alone.
Liam said: “I kind of doubted myself for a long time so I would always collaborate with other artists because I didn’t really believe in myself.
“But now that I had some time away, I don’t think I have one collaboration on my next album.
“I’m much more empowered to step out on a stage and to make the right music and at least have a message.
“I feel like I actually have something to say now, rather than just singing a song somebody else had written for me.”
Liam, who will drop his comeback single next month, said following a stint in rehab his new music will touch on his darker days.
He told a radio station in Colombia, South America: “I’m happy to kind of be at the age where I can start to say a little bit more, and if my music helps one person who went through what I went through, that’s what I want to do.
“I don’t really know if I knew what I signed up for when I started and I’ve been doing my job since I was 14 years old.
“I’ve been very lucky to hold the job for that long, but I do think it definitely left scars on me.
“You have to unpack a lot of stuff before you start this job. It’s a great life and I have a lot of gratitude but there were definitely low moments that I’ll never minimise.”
It’s been two years since his last single, and that was via a film soundtrack, but it sounds like the time away has done Liam wonders.
BABES LIVE & KICKIN’
SUGABABES performed their biggest hits including Round Round and Push The Button during an early morning surprise show today in front of 500 fans at London’s Tower Bridge.
Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy also gave out free tickets to upcoming gigs as they helped launch the Ladbrokes LIVE website, which has up to 15,000 tickets to must-see shows available for fans to win over the next 12 months.
Sounds like a good deal to me.
£45 to hear Weeknd
THE Weeknd is getting in on the act of selling gig tickets for seats behind the stage after Beyonce started cashing in on the same thing.
The Sun told yesterday how she is charging up to £122 each for the “listening only” seats in the US, with Ticketmaster making it clear that the location means buyers won’t be able to catch a glimpse of the superstar.
The Weeknd is following suit for his show at Wembley Stadium on August 18.
There are tickets available for seats which are being sold with the disclaimer: “Behind Stage – Significantly Obstructed.”
Thankfully his are a lot cheaper at £49.15 each, but that’s still a hefty fee during a cost of living crisis.
Some people have suggested the seats could be of decent value for people who are blind or visually impaired, but given the speakers will be facing in the opposite direction, I can’t imagine the sound will be too great.
I think I’d rather save my money and stick Spotify on instead.
Robbie’s wet idea
ROBBIE Williams has done some weird – and I have to say – wonderful songs over the years.
But his latest idea may be his kookiest yet. And this comes from a man who showed off his questionable rapping skills on Rudebox in 2006.
I can reveal Rob now wants to cover The Weather Girls’ 1983 classic It’s Raining Men . . . but with a rock twist.
The singer, who will play two sold-out gigs at King Charles’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk this month, said: “I want to do a cover of It’s Raining Men but I want Radiohead to do a backing track for me.
But they have not got back to me.
“I keep asking but nothing back. I dunno. I might ask Trent Reznor.”
“Robbie’s royal gigs will see him get back together with his former Take That bandmate Mark Owen.
Mark will be a special guest at both nights, taking to the stage as Rob’s warm-up act for an hour-long set.
MEGAN SHORE LOOKS GOOD
MEGAN Fox must have only just watched Disney’s live action remake of The Little Mermaid, as it looked like she was trying to mimic Ariel in this photoshoot.
The US model and actress shared a series of of her writhing around in the sea while wearing this white minidress.
Alongside this photo she wrote: “Offering surf lessons.”
I’m not sure this image fills me with confidence about her board skills, though.
She has been keeping a fairly low profile recently, along with her partner Machine Gun Kelly, following their split and subsequent reconciliation.
However, if anything is going to get him hot under the collar for her, it’s a sight like this during a trip to the seaside.
JAMES Blunt appears to have taken inspiration from his years living in Ibiza on his new single Beside You.
The cheery tune, out now, is the first from his upcoming album Who We Used To Be.
James said of the song: “It’s a bit of a celebration, an upbeat banger about finally being with the one you’ve been searching for your whole life.”
After listening to the track yesterday, I can confirm it’s one that will be stuck in your head for a long time to come.
His new album, which is due out on October 27, features ten new songs and is the singer/songwriter’s first release since his 2019 album Once Upon A Mind.

PARIS Hilton and Steve Aoki jumped for joy after debuting their new track Lighter.
The blonde heiress joined the international DJ at Tomorrowland festival in Belgium during his fire-filled set.
I first told of the surprise collaboration last month, with insiders explaining how Paris and Steve had struck up an unlikely friendship after meeting on the DJ circuit.
The track is expected to be released in October ahead of his tenth studio album.
Cardi is reported to cops over mic throw
CARDI B could be in hot water after throwing her microphone at a fan during a gig in Las Vegas.
The WAP singer has been reported to police over the incident I brought you pictures of on Monday after it was captured on camera.
Cardi was performing at Drai’s Beachclub in Sin City and asked fans to throw water on her – then she was surprised when an audience member actually did.
It is unclear who made the complaint to cops as reports have surfaced that the mic hit the drink thrower first, then ricocheted and hit another innocent woman.
Videos on social media clearly show the Bodak Yellow hitmaker chucked her microphone into the crowd, the question is whether police will pursue charges.
