Liam Payne makes it official as pregnant girlfriend Cheryl becomes his ONLY follow on Instagram

LIAM Payne and Cheryl are expecting their first child together and now the One Direction singer has made the relationship Instagram official, with Liam following his girlfriend on the social media platform.

The big showbiz social media event happened over the weekend and was spotted by eagle-eyed fans.

Up until now, 23-year-old Liam who has nearly 12 million followers, had not followed a single person.

But with pregnant Cheryl being his only follow, the move speaks volumes.

In comparison the former Girls Aloud singer has 131 accounts she's following on the picture-sharing platform including Liam and the likes of Rihanna, Kourtney Kardashian and Spice Girl Mel B.

Liam supported Cheryl, 33, as she proudly showed off her bump at a charity event last week.

The pair have not publicly confirmed the pregnancy but The Sun revealed the Geordie singer had told friends she's expecting her first child.

And it's said she will make no formal announcement and is instead pouring her heart out in the recording studio as she continues work on her new album.

A source said: “Cheryl isn’t hiding anything — especially not her bump.

“She is very excited because starting a family is something she’s always wanted.

“But she’s going to do things her way.”
