She continued: “It was a a massive learning curve. I feel like I need to have more confidence in myself. I feel like a much more confident person walking out of her. I didn’t expect to have any clichés in her.”
And expressing her surprise at being kept in for so long, she said: “When I first walked on I felt like I had snuck in the back door.
"I thought I would be first to leave because people would think I am just a northern girl who watches the telly.”

Speaking of his time in camp, Joel said: “You forget that the cameras are there and you live in a weird jungle feel.”
He went on: “I knew it was going to be good but I didn’t expect it to be this good.
“I didn’t think a bit of chocolate this big would be me go…”
Asked what he’d miss, Joel replied: “I am going to miss the simplicity of it, we talked about how scary it would be on the outside world… But you have nothing in there. It’s so simple in there.”
