Adam Thomas comes third on I’m A Celebrity 2016
ADAM Thomas has come in third place on I'm A Celebrity 2016.
The Emmerdale actor, who was nicknamed Mr Bushtucker Trial, made it to the semi-final alongside Scarlett Moffatt and Joel Dommett.
Speaking about his exit to Ant and Dec, he said: "What an experience. I wouldn’t change any of that for the world. The two there deserve it more than I do.
"I just can’t believe I made it to the final three. I was in there from the start to the to end."
Talking about the harmonious camp, he said: "I think everyone just got on. I came in here wanting a bromance and I got one with all the boys in there."
And when quizzed about who he would like to win, after a bit of persuasion, he revealed: "Scarlett, she watched it from such a young age and for her to be queen of the jungle…"
On tonight's show viewers watched as the final three took part in an individual trial to win a course for dinner for each of them, plus a treat and a drink for themselves.
Adam - who was facing his 11th trial - took part in the jungle classic Fill Your Face, during which he had to put his head in a clear helmet, while it was filled with critters.
For each minute he endured he would win five stars which would convert to three starters plus a drink and a treat.
This of course wasn't the first time that Adam has been forced to confront his fear during the trials over the last three weeks.
In his first task, before it had even begun, the star was nearly reduced to tears in the arms of Joel Dommett after he spotted a spider in the corner of the shack - making him a prime target for the viewers at home who nominated him to do several more trials against his will.
However, by the time he performed the vomit-inducing Pick and Critz, he managed to hold one of the creepy crawlies in his mouth.
Adam provided many a laugh for those watching at home thanks to the hilarious grunts he made throughout the various tasks.
It wasn't all fun and games though - he also had a few emotional moments.
The actor broke down in tears when he received a letter from his fiancee Caroline, who revealed that their son Teddy was missing him.
He also wept when got the chance to speak to his wife-to-be for a few minutes after the team won calls from those at home.
Adam even became a talking point on This Morning during his stint - thanks to his cheeky comments to Sam Quek.
Holly Willoughby branded him ‘outrageous’ after watching him ask his campmate Sam whether she showered naked with her hockey teammates.
The presenter screeched: “That is outrageous!”
She continued: “She’s trying to have a nice conversation saying ‘men are just…’ and he’s actually the worst of them!”
