The Sun Online previously revealed the singer’s engagement to the Rixton frontman came to an end.

Little Mix singer Jesy,25, has now explained that she deals with heartache by going through “stages of crying” and replying on the support of her friends.

The singer also admits the best way to move on is to “get yourself out and… mingle.”

Speaking at the Capital Jingle Bell Ball, she told  BANG Showbiz: “You have to go through the stages of just crying it out. Be around your friends and having that support and then you get yourself out and you mingle.”

Since the split, she has been throwing herself into work with the girl band and she looked incredible as she took to the stage with the group in London yesterday.

The couple had been planning to tie the knot after Jake proposed on stage in July last year.

However, The Sun Online exclusively revealed the relationship crumbled and they split in the autumn after a series of rows.

An insider told us: “Their relationship became strained and they grew apart.

“They started rowing and it became too much.”

Another source added: “It’s over as far as Jesy’s concerned and there’s no going back.

“The wedding is off and her engagement ring won’t be going back on.

“Jesy’s so busy with her career and she’s throwing herself into work.”
