Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan give fans update on swimming pool at £3.5m mansion as they put on finishing touches

MARK Wright and Michelle Keegan have given fans an update on their huge swimming pool at their £3.5m mansion as the project nears completion.

The main house itself may have been finished some time ago, but the grounds are still a hive of activity as workmen try and deliver the couple's dream vision.

The large outdoor pool is firmly set in place amid pristine white tiles that give off a Mediterranean holiday vibe, even on an overcast day in Essex.

Around the pool area dump trucks have been unloading ton upon ton of soil so that the garden can be levelled off and turfed.

Mark filmed the last remaining loads being deposited and then wrote on Instagram: "Ready for growth!! Finally we will have our garden back to green."

No expense has been spared on the forever home, which has luxury furnishings throughout.

Inside there's a his and hers bathroom, a spa and home gym where the fitness loving couple work on their flawless physiques.

Fortunately, they have the funds to cover the plush property.

We recently revealed Mark is worth around £15million after another money-spinning year.

New figures have revealed that Mark’s outfit, The Wright Look Models, is worth £2.3million – with £1.4m of that value invested in “fixed assets”.

Fixed assets are generally land, buildings or equipment

And Mark’s include a £1.1million house he built himself, and now run as a buy-to-let.

The rest of the value of the firm is held in cash and investments like stocks.

His wealth was £11million three years ago when he was listed at number three in The Sun’s Reality TV Rich List.

But the cash has continued to roll in. He has earned big courtesy of his property portfolio, having replaced an Essex mansion with four town houses worth £5.5million in total.

The keen developer demolished a £1.3million farmhouse in Essex to build a dream home, which is now said to be worth £3.5million as it nears completion.

The couple run a fashion label together, while Mark set up an online workout business, Train Wright, with his brother Josh.

After starting his career on Towie in 2010, Mark was runner-up on I’m A Celeb in 2011, came fourth on Strictly in 2014 and has hosted Take Me Out: The Gossip, This Morning and Mark Wright’s Hollywood Nights.

In 2017, he earned a fortune interviewing A-listers including Kim Kardashian on US show Extra in LA.

Further cash rolls in from DJ gigs at £10k a pop, and deals with Umbro, Littlewoods and Matalan.
