Police DROP probe into Katie Price’s ex Kieran Hayler after his arrest for child neglect and possessing a firearm
POLICE have dropped a probe into Kieran Hayler after he was arrested on suspicion of child neglect and possessing a firearm.
Katie Price's ex husband, 36, was held after police swooped on his home in West Sussex in April.
However, police today confirmed to The Sun Online that the investigation into Kieran has been dropped.
A statement said: "A 36-year-old man from the Petworth area was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm with intent and on suspicion of child neglect on April 7.
"He was questioned and following a thorough investigation it was concluded that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute and no realistic prospect of a conviction.
"The man has been released without charge and faces no further police action in relation to this incident."

A rep for Kieran said it was "no surprise" the probe was dropped and branded the allegations "mendacious".
Police were scrambled to Kieran's Northchapel home on Good Friday this year.
At the time, one resident told The Sun: “It was very dramatic, a police van and car suddenly turned up on the driveway of their home.
"We later heard it involved a gun which was quite frightening.”

Kieran was taken into custody for questioning before being released.
He was later pictured grinning as he left his home with fiancée Michelle Penticost, their son Apollo and Michelle's boy Valentino from a previous marriage.
Katie and Kieran wed in January 2013 and share two children, Bunny, 5, and six-year-old Jett.
They split in early 2018 following numerous allegations of cheating.
