Taylor Swift set to make surprising career change – and it’s bad news for her exes
HER turbulent love life has provided plenty of material for her hit records.
Now Taylor Swift’s famous exes, including musician John Mayer, and actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Joe Alwyn, may want to take cover again, as the superstar is preparing to turn the heartbreak from her songs into a screenplay.

I’ve been told Taylor has had a meeting with Succession writer Alice Birch to discuss the possibility of a new “meta-feminist” TV series.
A source said: “Taylor is a multi-talented individual and while her love life has given her ten No1 albums, it is also in the early stages of spawning a new TV show.
“She has been introduced to Alice and they have started discussing a possible new screenplay.
“Taylor is incredibly astute and getting her head into a project like this would be perfect for her.

“Alice is an ideal writing partner as she helped shape Succession character Shiv Roy.
“Seeing how she moulded this character, who existed in a male-dominated environment, caught Taylor’s eye.
“They have just been throwing around ideas.
“Naturally, Taylor’s relationships have inspired some of her biggest songs, many of which have become empowerment anthems.

“This translates easily on to the screen and there are so many threads they can take from it.
“It is really exciting and something Taylor is looking to branch out into.”
Taylor last year revealed she was preparing to direct her first feature film after writing the script.
The project is being produced by Searchlight Pictures, the company which was behind major films including The Shape Of Water and Nomadland.
Taylor said of the venture: “I’d like to keep taking baby steps and I’m at a place now where the next baby step is not a baby step.
“It would be committing to making a film and I would absolutely love for the right opportunity to arise, because I adore telling stories this way.”
I’m not sure many of your exes will feel the same, Taylor.

PIXIE’S GOT A LOTT ON PLATE
HEAVILY pregnant Pixie Lott is ready to drop in more ways than one – as she is gearing up to release her first album in nine years.
In an exclusive chat, the Mama Do singer, whose last record was her self-titled 2014 album, said there isn’t long to wait.

She revealed: “We’re just setting up the timeline but there will be something really soon.
“The album is finished and I cannot wait to get it out there.”
Pixie, who is eight months pregnant and married to model Oliver Cheshire, wore this vibrant pink outfit to perform at Flackstock Festival in Reading on Monday, which was set up in memory of late TV presenter Caroline Flack.
The festival aims to raise awareness of mental health issues and raise funds for charities which were close to the former Love Island host’s heart.
Pixie used the performance to sing a new baby-inspired track, expected to feature on her forthcoming album.
She explained: “I wrote Build My World a few weeks ago and only just finished it in my dressing room.
“Because the new baby is coming, I wanted to write something to mark where I’m at in my life. My life’s about to change a lot and this is a song about it.”
After her energetic performance she said: “I thought I would be more out of breath, but when the crowd out there is so lovely it just gets you in the zone so you forget about it and you jump around.
Other stars taking to the stage included Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Feeling and Olly Murs, who said he too is “ready to have kids”.
It was his first appearance since marrying bodybuilder Amelia Tank this month.
He’s not wasting any time.
PETE DAVIDSON has been ordered to attend a morgue after he drove a car into a house.

Liam has spent the past few days relaxing in the South of France before rehearsals for a mini tour in South America from September 1, where he will be joined by his cousin, former The Voice contestant Ross Harris, on drums.
READING and Leeds Festival should be a laugh – Joel Dommett will headline the Alternative Stage when the events take place from August 25 to 27.

RITA Ora has confessed she didn’t fancy her husband Taika Waititi when they first met.
She said of the film director, who she married last year: “We were friends a long time before.
“We met six years ago at a barbecue in Los Angeles.”
Asked during an appearance on Radio 2’s Tracks Of My Years if she if she thought he was dating material back then, she added: “No. I knew he was an attractive guy but I didn’t think about it.

GERI Horner hasn’t ruled out the chance of having another baby, spice.
Quizzed about the prospect of becoming a mum again following the birth of her son Monty – who she had with Red Bull Formula 1 boss Christian in 2017 – the Wannabe singer said: “There’s room for another one, for sure, and if that happened that would be great.
“But either way is OK. We’ve got our hands pretty full and we’re very grateful for what we have.”
She added to magazine: “It is so lovely to have this little person who is half each of us.”
Geri also has a teenage daughter, Bluebell, from a former relationship.
She added to Hello! magazine: “I guess the word I’d use to describe where I am in my life is content.
“We’ve gone from it being just Bluebell and me for so long to this blended, modern family.”
MATT Goss wants his band Bros to reunite and release new music.
The singer hasn’t spoken to his twin and bandmate Luke for five months but hopes they can sort things out.
In an exclusive chat, he said: “We are a larger-than-life entity on stage and that’s where we want to be making new music, but there’s no point in us doing it unless it can be done right.
“We are struggling a little bit in our relationship.
“But that doesn’t mean he’s not the love of my life. I will always put my foot forward for reconciliation.”
And Matt wants to resolve things soon – so Bros can perform at Glasto next year.
He added: “Conversations would have to happen but my dream would be to do Glastonbury with my brother.”

BRITNEY Spears has reunited with her NSYNC pal Lance Bass and met his toddlers for the first time.
She posted this photo of Lance, his twins Violet and Alexander and her husband, actor Sam Asghari, on Twitter.

The Piece Of Me singer wrote: “I’m a new auntie for Lance’s babies. They are absolutely gorgeous babies.”
Britney became friends with Lance while dating his bandmate Justin Timberlake two decades ago and they also toured together.
But last month, Lance said her team had put a “stop” to a meeting between them despite Britney originally getting in touch with him.
He said: “You have to talk through people. It’s very strange.”
