EastEnders Carter family left in shock as masked gang rob Queen Vic and hold baby Ollie to ransom… but is Lee to blame?

Mick fought off the robbers as tonight’s episode reached a dramatic climax

EASTENDERS took a dark twist on Friday night when a gang of masked robbers broke into the Queen Vic to steal the takings and put baby Ollie in sinister danger.

Brandishing baseball bats, the masked intruders wouldn’t back down when Mick Carter told them the savings had already been banked but the horror continued as Johnny took a hit and the thieves went upstairs.

A horrified Whitney had Ollie taken out of her arms as one of the gang threatened to drop him down the stairs until tough man Mick managed to play negotiator and talk him into putting him on the floor.

However during the nightmare, Lee remained unusually calm and even addressed of them as “mate.”

Then, as one of the gang dropped his wallet Lee was seen picking it up and pocketing it.

The character’s depression has been spiralling out of control as he struggles with mounting debt and workplace bullying – could tonight’s dramatic events be something to do with him?

With Mick promising to "find 'em and kill 'em", the lad's problems could about to get even worse.
