Adam Thomas’ proud fiancée Caroline dresses mini-me son Teddy up just like his hero I’m A Celebrity star daddy and says he’s ‘already their winner’
Adam Thomas’ son Teddy has dressed up as his dad to support him as he nears the final of I’m A Celebrity.
Looking just like the Emmerdale actor's mini-me, the two-year-old wore the full jungle kit – including the famous red shorts, T-shirt and hat.
It seems Teddy takes after his dad when it comes to shining for the camera as he happily pulled a series of poses.
Speaking about the fun shoot, mum Caroline said: “Teddy has loved watching his daddy on TV. He’s been glued to the screen every night and he’s missed Adam so much.
“And because Teddy looks so much like his daddy, I thought it’d be funny to dress him up in his dad’s jungle clothes! He’s like a little mini-me.
“Unlike his daddy, though, Teddy’s more than happy to play with his toy bugs and spiders.”
Caroline, who’s flown out to Australia with Teddy so she can greet Adam when he exits the rainforest, added: “Adam has done amazingly well and I’ve loved watching him on the show.
“I just hope people don’t assume he’s safe - we need viewers to pick up the phone and vote to save him, because we’d all love to see him in the final.”
Prior to arriving in Australia Teddy appeared on Lorraine via video link to give his dad a good luck message.
He said he wanted his dad to ‘bring him the crown’ before adding ‘Team daddy’.
Meanwhile Caroline has spoken out to support her partner after he admitted fancying Lisa Snowdon.
She told : “He’s not being flirty, he’s being Adam. He is so bubbly and such a joker.
“He’s also really caring so if anyone needs a shoulder to cry on, Adam will be there with open arms.”
The dance teacher continued: “Lisa is gorgeous and she looked amazing teaching all the ladies in the camp how to strut their stuff on the catwalk.”
And talking about his phobia of spiders and entertaining reactions to the trials, she said: “I have never, ever seen him like that in all the time we’ve been together.
“I knew he was scared of spiders, but not to that extent!”
Adam previously revealed he had hypnotherapy for his fear of spiders - but it failed to cure the problem.
The actor’s phobia is so bad that he was once forced to wake his fiancée- who was pregnant with their son Teddy at the time - to catch a tiny house spider crawling around their bedroomin the middle of the night.
He said: "I just hate them. When Caroline was nine months pregnant Ispotted one in our bedroom. I woke her up and asked her to get of it. I was nearly crying and it was only small. I am such a wuss, especially with spiders."
