I’m A Celebrity star Adam Thomas growls like he’s possessed in revolting Bushtucker Trial involving THOUSANDS of cockroaches
ADAM Thomas might want to call in a priest to help him cope with the trauma of tonight's Bushtucker Trial.
The Emmerdale actor is forced to grab stars with his mouth - but is neck deep in THOUSANDS of insects.
In a clip from tonight's show, Adam can be heard growling demonically as he is covered in more and more creepy crawlies.
At once point he screams: "Argh they're biting me!" as the Outback insects chow down on his exotic English flesh.
The trial, dubbed Knickerboxker Gory, has all the makings of an I'm A Celeb classic.
He needs to lift himself up to unscrew a star from a pole, but at the same time, deal with the constant in pouring of insects.
As he frantically tries to work the star free, Ant has some bad news.
He informs him that he is about to be joined by, "Another 7,000 mealworms, 8,000 crickets and 16,000 cockroaches."
Adam manages to beat the odds - and the bugs - and win the star, leaving him shouting with joy.
His reactions are sure to delight viewers, who have been hooked on the strange noises he makes when up against the show's gory challenges.
Ant and Dec certainly love them, and are left sniggering from the sidelines.
When Adam took part in last week's Cage Rage trial, the dad-of-one was left virtually traumatised as he comes face to face with a huge spider.
The task involved Adam and Danny Baker being submerged in a cage underwater with snakes and other scary creatures as they try to win the camp meals.
Ant and Dec described the challenge as two campmates facing a jungle water chamber in a quest to collect stars but they won’t be alone in the water.
Earlier in the series, Adam had viewers in stitches as he dived head first in to vats of creepy crawlies, slime and other unspeakable horrors as part of the Food Factory challenge.
He grunted and squealed as he stuck his hands in to a stinking tub of rotting vegetables, before facing a tray of rats.
In the final tub he came face to face with some palm-sized spiders – and screamed with absolute terror.
Speaking about his efforts, Adam's twin brother Scott - who appeared on Love Island over the summer - revealed that even he couldn't understand the gibberish he brother was coming up with during the task.
He told Lorraine: "I expected something but that was just TV gold."

Lorraine observed that Adam had seemed to "develop his own kind of language" during the trial and asked whether he was able to translate.
He responded: "No, honestly... I'm his twin brother and I was absolutely lost on that one."
