I'M A Celebrity's Larry Lamb has brushed off criticism over his jungle rivalry with Martin Roberts, insisting they left "nothing unsettled".

The former EastEnders actor, 69, was the latest star to be voted out of the show last night, amid claims from fans that he had been "bullying" his co-star.

However, appearing on Good Morning Britain today, the actor insisted the pair were fine when he left.

Asked about their on-air rivalry, Larry insisted: "All the friction between us was all on the camera.

"He [Martin] said 'have I upset you?' I said 'no, but the way you were going about things was not what we'd been doing here'."

He added: "There was nothing unsettled. I'm sure Martin and I would have a wonderful working relationship, but neither of us would choose to live together."

Larry was blasted by Twitter users on last night's show, with some even accusing him of "bullying" Martin.

“Is it just me or does Larry just bully Martin?? #ImACeleb”, asked one viewer.

While others felt like Larry was going out of his way to upset Martin: “Larry is going out of his way to be annoyed by Martin. It just seems a little unfair now. #ImACeleb”, another added: “#ImACeleb Larry hardly a lamb! Petty and vindictive #shutuplarry #getlarryout”

But despite the worries from fans, the pair made up, and Larry was cheered as he left the jungle.

Meanwhile, when the GMB presenters said they thought he would win, Larry joked today: "So did I".

But he added: "I realised about five days ago that my days were numbers.

"Every day Wayne and I would say 'its me today'... We said that this morning, and I was right and he was wrong."

He admitted: "The minute you hit that bridge you think 'I'm out of there'."

Speaking about the friends he's made, Larry said: "It was always going to be about the people. It's like going on an acting job, it can be the best job in the world, but you don't know who you're going to be working with."

The star revealed he's phoned his family already as he enjoys the luxury hotel.

"With this extraordinay experience under my belt and meeting these people, in a truly magical place, you couldn't want for more."

However he joked: "Now and then you get lucky and get a possum tit toe at."

Larry was the latest star to be voted out of the jungle last night.

It was between the 69-year-old actor and Martin Roberts, but the former EastEnders star was eventually forced to say goodbye to his campmates, appearing relieved.

The others were less than thrilled and ITV had to quickly bleep over an unknown contestant’s swearing.

He told Ant and Dec that he was “disappointed but had had an extraordinary time”, that has “changed him as a person.”

“It’s really done me the world of good and more than anything appreciate my family,” he said.

Larry added: “You put up with each other and everyone’s foibles, you’re desperate to go to the dunny and there’s somebody going in there and they’re second half hour of making themselves up, and you think ‘well hang on dear…’ but you know there’s no point saying anything.

“It’s really done me the world of good and more than anything appreciate my family,” and realise how “much more he had to do.”

Larry had a turbulent time with Martin Roberts during his jungle stretch, and was even accused of “bullying” him after one of their pursuits, but when asked what he thought about the present, Larry said: “I think he means well…”

And when Ant asked if he just “irritated” him, Larry replied, “Well yeah.”
He said Martin was “coping well” with camp life, but said the two of them were “a different vibe entirely.”
