Emotional Stacey Solomon ‘in tears’ as son Leighton celebrates huge milestone

STACEY Solomon was overcome with emotion as her son Leighton celebrated a huge milestone.

The 33-year-old is a proud mum to five children, including Leighton, 11, and Zachary, 15, from previous relationships.

Stacey and husband Joe Swash share Rex, four, Rose, one, and Belle who was born in February.

But she took to Instagram to celebrate her second oldest leaving primary school.

A beaming Stacey posed with Leighton and Rex in a snap shared on her story and said: "The face of a proud 11 year old, an over emotional mother and a 4 year old who is well and truly ready for the church service to end."

Stacey later told fans: "That was so emotional, it's going to be an emotional week."

She shares Leighton with ex fiance Aaron Barham who she split from in 2014.

The Loose Women star previously revealed Leighton has her surname and not his father's.

Joe, who is also dad to son Harry, 16, from a previous relationship, has opened up in the past about their blended family.

He said: "They will say I'm one of their dads!

"I treat all the boys exactly the same. I think that's the only way you can do it.

"You know, I love Stacey's boys. I love my boys. I hate saying it like that because by saying that there's a separation. I'm really honoured to be able to say I am their stepdad.

"So when I met Stacey, Leighton was only three, And Zach was only, I think he was only seven or eight and you know, I've been in their lives longer than I haven't been in their lives. And I love that."
