Cheryl and Liam Payne’s adorable childhood photos as we take a look back at their family albums
The couple are expecting their own child but what were they like as kids?
SHE has told her close friends and family that she is expecting her first child with Liam Payne.
And despite still not discussing her pregnancy publicly - Cheryl proudly showed off her baby bump as she attended a charity event with boyfriend earlier this week.
So, as they gear up to welcome their baby into the world, we take a look back at their old childhood photo albums.
Liam – now 23 – was born in Wolverhampton, West Midlands to mum Karen, a nursery nurse, and Geoff Payne, a fitter.
His early childhood was not particularly easy as he was born with a scarred and dysfunctional kidney.
Up until the age of four he was forced to undergo regular test and to help cope with the pain, he had 32 injections in his arm in the morning and evening.
Pictures from that time show an adorable and cheeky looking little boy and in one picture from the family album he can be seen winking at the camera - something he did when he first met Cheryl during the X Factor auditions.
Other pictures from his family album show he had musical talent from an early age – as he was pictured with a mic.
Cheryl was just as musical as a kid as pictures show her too singing with a microphone.
Liam has previously revealed that he was bullied at secondary school, but after taking up boxing lesson he soon grew out of any puppy fat.
Cheryl’s family albums shows a beautiful and smiley young girl – who seemed to have a thing for hair scrunchies.
The singer was born in Newcastle some time before Liam and famously grew up on a council estate.
She started dancing when she was just four and it wasn’t long until her talent was noticed.
Speaking previously about her tough start in life, she said: “Growing up wasn't easy. We didn't have much money and there were times when me and my brothers and sister would have to go without so we had food on the table.
She added: “However, my family supported my ambitions of singing and dancing. Me mam and dad worked extremely hard so I could attend local dance classes from the age of four.
“Without them realising it, they'd opened up a whole new world to me and for that, I am so, so grateful. They've made it possible for me to create an amazing life for myself, doing something I love every day.”
