Kylie Minogue’s Las Vegas residency start date revealed ahead of UK Tension tour
FOUR decades since her aptly titled debut I Should Be So Lucky, Kylie Minogue's career has never been better.
As well as riding high in the charts with Padam Padam - her first Top 10 hit in thirteen years - The Sun can reveal the singer has landed her first ever Las Vegas residency.
Insiders say Kylie Minogue will take to the stage in October at brand new mega-nightclub Voltaire inside The Venetian Tower.
The intimate 1,000 seater venue is set to be based on cabaret shows with the Can't Get You Out Of My Head singer using state of the art technology in her performances.
Unlike with other artists including Britney Spears and Lady Gaga, Kylie has negotiated a deal that won't lock her into exclusively performing in Sin City for years on end.
British fans unable to make the trip across the pond will be able to see her in 2024 when she embarks on her arena Tension tour.
While Kylie will kick things off in Vegas just weeks after the release of her sixteenth album Tension, her set list in Las Vegas will be a greatest hits show rather than focus fully on her new record.
Upcoming album track Vegas High - an electronic pop banger of a song - will be on the set list as will lead single Padam Padam.
The Sun'z Bizarre column first told the world of the Lostboy track back in April which has gone on to become a global smash.
In the biggest hint she was setting her sights on finally conquering America, Kylie debuted the track live on American Idol in May.
