Frankie Bridge arrives in Australia and admits she is struggling to cope without I’m A Celebrity husband Wayne Bridge
The popstar spoke on today's Lorraine show about her struggles being in the same country but being kept apart by the ITV show
FRANKIE Bridge revealed she has been struck by an unexpected pang of homesickness after landing in Australia yet remaining forced to stay apart from her I'm A Celebrity contestant husband Wayne.
The Saturdays singer hinted her time Down Under had been tinged with sadness after she arrived at the swanky Palazzo Versace hotel for campmates' families last night.
Frankie, 27, told today's Lorraine show: "It's weird for me being here.
"I want him to stay in but now I'm here I feel homesick.
"He's here but he's not with me.
"I wasn't expecting to feel like that.
"I do want him to stay but I am ready for him to come back now."
She added her parents were looking after their two children including Parker, three, who has a carol concert today.
Wayne has proved popular with fans and campmates alike during his time in the ITV show and chat show host Lorraine Kelly today branded him a "dark horse" in the competition.
The ex footballer has shown his sensitive side and struggles over jungle life and Frankie commented: "To see him cry is horrible.
"I did have a good cry, I think lots of us did.
"But now I think he's really enjoying himself."
Talking of his popularity, she added: "Footballers do have a bad reputation.
"I love him, no everyone else loves him."
Though she did cheekily tell Lorraine she would be treating her other half to a goat for Christmas - an animal he has feared while in camp - after he admitted he had never listened to any of her songs.
He has also opened up about their sex life while in camp.
Before heading out the yummy mummy threw an almighty strop – over having to pack her own suitcases.
Posting a picture of herself face down, splayed out on the floor of her bedroom, Frankie joked she was having a little trouble without her husband to help her.
She wrote on alongside the snap: “When your[sic] trying to pack for Australia… but your husband normally does it for you… and your Mum comes upstairs to find you like this… #ihatepacking #itstoocold tothinkofsummerclothes #lifegoals #imaceleb #teamwayne”
