Dua Lipa looks incredible in see-through dress at Barbie premiere

DUA Lipa stole the show at the Barbie premiere in sunny Los Angeles last night in a stunning see-through dress.

The pop star, 27, went braless in her shimmering chainmail dress through which her silver thong was visible.

Sexy Dua worked the pink carpet outside the Shrine Auditorium, showing off her flawless figure in front of the photographers.

Joining the raven-haired beauty at the event were Barbie's leading pair Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie.

Aussie Margot opted for a glam black dress that was at odds with the pink theme, while Ken actor Ryan embraced his character in a pale pink suit.

Gal Gadot, Billie Eilish, Nicki Minaj also attended the high-profile event.

Director Greta Gerwig's comedy is an explosion of colour and chaos.

She said of the film in a recent interview: “It’s not about growing up, exactly. This is about Barbie, an inanimate doll made out of plastic. But the movie ends up, really, about being human.”

Greta was handpicked to direct by Margot, who owns the rights to the film alongside Warner Bros.

Despite having the confidence of the leading lady and film studio, as well as a hefty pedigree behind her, Greta was still nervous about taking on the project.

She said: “It’s not like a superhero, who already has a story. It felt very much like it was going to be an adaptation. Except what we were adapting is a doll – an icon of the 20th century.

“It felt complicated enough, sticky enough, strange enough, that maybe there could be something interesting there to be discovered.”

Her work has paid off and it's already a hit with critics who have praised its whip-smart comedy, flamboyancy and the all-out bonkers world it operates in.
