Coronation Street’s Caz Hammond could go on a revenge murder spree says actress Rhea Bailey
The evil former soldier has already framed Maria for murder, so it wouldn't take much to push Caz into becoming the next Richard Hillman
CORONATION Street's Caz Hammond might have been exposed but if actress Rhea Bailey has her way, she'll go down fighting.
In the hypothetical situation that Caz would become the next Richard Hillman, Rhea's already got her targets in mind for Caz's epic revenge spree.
As soon as she gets the chance, Caz would run through the cobbles like a knife through butter starting with the woman who rejected her - Maria Connor.
"Next would be Aidan, then it would be Audrey because she told Caz to leave and I think Caz thought Audrey really liked her," she exclusively told The Sun Online ahead of filming her thrilling storyline.
"She'd definitely go back for Kate and then obviously Sophie because that's where it all started.
"She'd just put them all in a minibus or something."
But while Caz has the potential to go down the route of a classic Corrie killer, Rhea worked with the soap's bosses to make her character believable and the storyline as good as it can be for the audience.
"The producers wanted to make sure I play it as authentic as possible. She's genuinely so hurt by the fact she's been rejected by everyone.
"She hasn't got anybody, her family rejected her a long time ago and because she got kicked out of the army that was the only thing that she had, and then Kate rejected her and now Maria's rejected her, it's all coming from a place of hurt and at first all the stuff she was doing, all of that in her mind has come out of a place of necessity, of survival.
"She genuinely doesn't feel she has a choice because she's got nowhere to go so she's always doing anything she can to keep herself safe and put a roof over her head but now it's gone that bit further.
"She's doing what she feels is right to get justice, she's literally not thinking like a normal person would because she is so damaged.
"In Caz's head, she can justify everything. She thinks there's a reason or she thinks they deserve it because of what they've done to her."
With Caz's scheming capturing the nation's attention, it was surprisingly effective in convincing the police that she'd been murdered without a body to find.
Rhea explained: "She's really got nothing else to do, she's spent all her time, all she thinks about is this. It's been really well thought out.
"It's really well thought out. I also feel like Caz isn't scared of anyone. She's actually army trained, she's been in the army, for a long time, she's seen a lot of horrible things in the army so she's not scared of a hairdresser. Not one bit. Caz is not scared of her, not at all.
"She's not even aware of what Maria's capable of."
However, while she's not scared of Maria, there is one soap superbitch Caz should be wary of - the original scheming murderer, Tracy Barlow.
"I think it would be fun to match her up against Tracy [Barlow] because Tracy's done so much scheming in the past it would be great to see them at loggerheads.

"Caz has got more of a disregard for her life and when people don't care, they don't even think straight.
"She's got no kids, nobody cares about her, at least Tracy's got her daughter and a few people that care about her so I think it would be Caz."
Watch out Tracy.
