I’m A Celebrity’s Scarlett Moffatt accused of cheating by her ex as he reveals split left him in a ‘dark place’

I’M A Celebrity star Scarlett Moffatt has been accused of cheating by her ex-boyfriend Richard Cull.

The couple dated for eight months after meeting on MTV’s Beauty School Cop Outs in 2013 but their relationship turned sour after their split.

Richard, who’s now moved on and has a new girlfriend, admits his break up with the Gogglebox star was “toxic” and left him in a “dark place”.

The Cardiff-based personal trainer, who claims he found messages to another man on Scarlett’s phone, said: “She cheated on me, to put it bluntly. There was a lot of drama.

“It ended very sour. It was toxic and it took me months to get over her.

“I was depressed and in a dark place afterwards.”

Scarlett, who’s now dating Luke Crodden, did reach out to Richard just weeks before she flew to Australia to take part in the hit ITV reality show.

Speaking to the , Richard explained: “We didn’t speak for three years but it was a very positive email. She said she was just seeing how I was.

“I wished her the best and I’m glad she seems happy.”

His revelation comes just days after another one of Scarlett’s ex boyfriends, Ian Billett, revealed he split from the star because he couldn’t cope with her newfound fame.

Speaking about the moment he ended the relationship, Ian said: “She didn’t take too kindly to it at the time. It was my decision and it was the right thing to do for both of us.

“It sounds like I’m a softie but her career was really starting to take off and she was being invited all over the place, the door was just opening for her.”

Ian insisted he made the difficult decision because he was worried he’d hold her career back – as he was settled at the time.

But he admitted she would often feel insecure about what people thought of her when they were out together.

He added: “She is sometimes a bit too eager to please and would never cause offence by asking someone to leave her alone.”
