HOLLY Willoughby almost showed off more than she intended as she suffered a fashion fail live on This Morning.

The presenter was seen desperately trying to push her skirt down as it kept riding up thanks to a bad case of static friction.

Looking rather amused, Holly told the viewers: “Something’s just happened. My skirt has gone static and keeps riding up.”

The mum-of-three then tried to push it down as Phil attempted to continue with the show, while giggling at his co-hosts predicament.

She continued: "So, anyway you'll have to just put up with me doing this."

Phil wanted to get in on the static action and reaching out touch her he pretended to get an electric shock, saying: "If I touch you will it...?"

The stunning 35-year-old opted for a navy Karen Millen frock for today's show featuring a pussy-bow blouse and long sleeves.

She teamed it with a pair of Prada heels which elongated her slims legs even further.

Seeing her struggle with the skirt, viewers took to Twitter to offer support and advice.

One lady told her: “#ThisMorning hi Holly put hand cream on then rub your hands over your skirt will take static away X”

While another cheekily added: "Not a great advert for the 'What's Holly wearing today' tweet then. Static electricity shaping it."
