Holly Willoughby adds two new additions to her family as she gets kittens
The This Morning presenter was devastated last month when her cat died
HOLLY Willoughby has expanded her family just in time for Christmas - by getting two kittens.
The This Morning presenter looked like the cat who had got the cream as she revealed her happy news on the show today.
And it looks like they are already causing chaos in the household as Holly revealed one of them fell asleep in the Christmas tree yesterday.
Sharing her news, Holly – who is mum to Belle, Chester and Harry - told Phillip: “I had a lovely day yesterday. I’m in kitten zen.”
Showing a video, she said: “Please welcome the new members of the Willoughby family – Teddy and Bluebell. Named by my children I might add but I was quite happy with those names. I thought they did quite well when you think what it could have been.
“They are really good, they have been really sweet. Teddy is a bit sniffly snuffly and then Bluebell fell asleep somewhere and we couldn’t find her and she had fallen asleep in the Christmas tree.”
Clearly enamoured, she added: “How cute it that?”
Her new kittens comes a few months after her beloved cat Roxy died unexpectedly in October.
The presenter broke down in tears at the time as she discussed her loss.
She said: “A really strange thing on Thursday night, she went to sleep, we came down in the morning and she passed away in her sleep.
“It was a big shock for everybody."
Talking about how she broke the news to her children, Holly became tearful and Ben had to step in while she composed herself.
“As soon as I found out I thought how am I going to tell the kids,” Holly revealed.
“One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.”
She added: “I said Roxy wasn’t very well. She had a sister who died as a kitten, Peaches, so I said Peaches would be waiting for her in heaven.”
