Craig David sings Happy Birthday to Lorraine Kelly as stars including Cliff Richard pay tribute to the TV legend as she turns 57
Stars from across the industry came together to wish Lorraine a Happy Birthday
CRAIG David serenaded Lorraine Kelly on live TV today to celebrate her birthday.
The singer was among a number of stars who helped mark Lorraine's big day but went a step further by bursting into song.
Stars including Cliff Richard, the new judges on The Voice and the cast of Coronation Street filmed video messages for the TV veteran.
However, Craig called into the show and delighted Lorraine by singing Happy Birthday to her.
He serenaded her down the phone and she couldn't stop smiling as the pop star crooned away.
Craig also told her: "You look younger and younger every year. You are so amazing."
Lorraine was left flustered by his gushing comments, joking: "I have gone red-faced. I need a lie down."
As well as her special phone call from Craig, Lorraine was also played a video message compilation featuring best wishes from her celebrity friends.
Music veteran Cliff Richard was among those who paid tribute to Lorraine, and even held up a cake for her in the clip.
Others who got involved included Coronation Street castmembers such as Jane Danson and Sally Dynevor.
Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley, and the all new panel of TV singing show The Voice also got involved.
The Voice judges also sang to the TV veteran, with Jennifer Hudson and Tom Jones belting out Happy Birthday for the camera.
Lorraine turned 56 today.
