Strictly Come Dancing star Ed Balls tipped for the next series of Celebrity Big Brother after winning the nation’s hearts with his dance moves

SURPRISE Strictly Come Dancing star Ed Balls has been tipped for the next season of Celebrity Big Brother after proving so popular with the public.

Coral are offering bets on the former MP taking part in the Channel 5 reality TV show at 10-1. They also have odds of him appearing on The Jump at 33-1.

Meanwhile William Hill have slashed his odds of appearing in a panto to 5-1.

Yesterday he told The Sun that he may, in fact, waltz his way back into politics following an outpouring of public support.

After winning over millions with his whole-hearted routines, Ed, 49, has not ruled out a return to Westminster.

In an exclusive interview, he told The Sun: “There’s been a massive change in 18 months for me — from losing a public vote to winning all these public votes.

“If I had set out for a political comeback I’m not sure I’d have channelled Zoolander.

“I’m not sure I would have done Gangnam or Great Balls of Fire. It’s such a weird time.

“You never say never. People have seen how I have done this for three months after being a politician for 20 years — entertaining people and having a good time.

“There was no plan or plot, but who knows?”

Despite no longer being a Labour MP, bookies have now slashed the odds of him replacing Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn after the next election to 50/1.
