Becky Vardy ‘takes a swipe at Coleen Rooney’ with cryptic post about ‘disrespect’ after row over £1.8m court costs
BECKY Vardy appears to have taken a catty swipe at Wagatha rival Coleen Rooney with a cryptic post about "disrespect."
The mysterious Instagram message came after we exclusively reported how Becky, 41, was locked in a fresh battle over Coleen's £1.8m legal fees - and then claimed Wayne Rooney's wife, 37, had missed a deadline over the bill.
The wife of Leicester star Jamie, 36, has to pay 90 per cent of her rival’s costs after losing their libel trial last July — but Becky claims some of the figures have rocketed by more than 300 per cent.
Now she has uploaded a telling quote to her Instagram Stories perhaps reflecting her state of mind.
It read: "Sometimes I wanna reciprocate people's disrespect but then I look at their lifestyle and how life treats them ... that is enough punishment."

Last week, Becky hit the roof when she was landed with Coleen's legal bill, including £2,000 for one of her lawyers to stay at a five-star hotel.
They also racked up a £225 tab for breakfast and drinks at London’s Nobu Hotel, sparking a furious fightback.
Becky was told she would have to pay 90 per cent of 37-year-old Coleen’s legal bill when she lost their libel trial, with the amount to be assessed.
She then received the final tally in April — amounting to a colossal £1.8million, way above the £500,000 which Coleen’s team is said to have originally budgeted for in court.

Incensed, Becky hired a legal team to demand a breakdown of the costs from the wife of ex-England star Wayne.
Sources say she is prepared to pay what she “rightfully owes” but has now launched a legal “war” over the spiralling costs.
The dispute could lead to another court showdown between the two former friends after their original trial gripped the nation last summer.
In another development between the warring pair, Becky has trademarked the Wagatha Christie phrase in a bid to stop others cashing in.
It is the first time the footie Wag has had a legal win in the saga since she lost her High Court libel battle against arch rival Coleen last year.
She has won the rights to the phrase which was first coined in October 2019 after Coleen accused Becky of selling stories about her.
Becky used a friend’s company, London Entertainment Inc Ltd, to quietly apply for the trademark eight months ago, after the libel battle decision went against her.
The move means anyone wishing to use the phrase commercially will have to get her permission — and pay her if she allows it.

The trademark covers everything from broadcasting and clothing to cosmetics and drinks.
A spokesman for Rebekah Vardy strongly denied the post was directed at Coleen.
