CHRIS Moyles’ Radio X show was left in chaos after he failed to show up in the studio after partying too hard at Glastonbury.
The star spent the weekend at the iconic music festival, which meant he wasn’t in his usual presenting spot for the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X on Monday.
Radio X tweeted out a photo of the empty studio and wrote: “The show has started, but where is @ChrisMoyles.”
But instead of presenting from the studio, the 49-year-old instead hosted the show from a caravan off-site from Glastonbury where he’d been all weekend.
Meanwhile, his radio co-hosts Pippa Taylor and Dominic Byrne held down the fort in the Radio X London studios.
Chris’ co-presenters joked at his lack of appearance, as Pippa said: “I made it back because I’m a dedicated professional. I came back late last night, I had to miss out on a bit of Elton. I got back about half 12 in the morning.”

Dominic added: “You made it back…Chris was at Glastonbury…he isn’t here.”
Chris then addressed why he hadn’t made it back to the studio, saying: “Here’s the story, James [Robinson] was at Glastonbury on Thursday and we spoke to him on Friday do you remember? In his campervan…with all this equipment so he could be on the air.
“So I said to James “I’m not coming in, I’m not there”, so James said, “I’ve got all this equipment” and I said “stop showing off” and he said “not like that, radio!” so he’s brought his campervan to where I’m staying…
“We’ve plugged it in, and here we are!”

Chris continued to add that he had his Elton John glasses and had parked up on a lawn to present his radio show.
The radio star stayed on to watch Elton perform – much like thousands of other fans.
Sir Elton, 76, delivered an incredible headline set to mark the final show of his last ever UK tour.
Guests including actors Taron Egerton and Andrew Garfield and Paul McCartney descended on the Pyramid Stage’s backstage area for the ultimate festival finale — as Britain’s finest songwriter performed his last concert.
In a set loaded with hits, Elton showed why he has long been Glasto’s most-wanted headliner as he admitted: “I never thought I’d actually do this.”
