Glastonbury viewers seriously distracted by Billy Idol’s appearance after ‘shambolic and chaotic’ performance
GLASTONBURY fans were left seriously distracted by Billy Idol's "shambolic and chaotic" performance.
Towards the end of his Saturday afternoon Glastonbury show, the music legend ended up swearing twice.
Billy Idol and Steve Jones collaborated on stage, combining Generation X and the Sex Pistols.
As they finished their last number, I Did It My Way, fans said they heard Billy say the C-word.
Billy began singing, "And now the end is near and so I face the final curtain," and then he continued, "You C***, get me a beer, I'll state my case of which I am certain."
The rock star then used the F-word as he proceeded to thank the crowd for coming to see them.

"The afterparty is at Stonehenge, I'll see you there. I'm gonna get f***ed up tonight, yeah," Billy told the audience.
Fans were also puzzled as to why the famous singer wore a leather jacket in the hot weather.
Those at home watching took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the shocking performance and Billy's appearance, with many dubbing it "chaotic" and "shambolic".
One wrote: "Wow did Billy just say c**t?"
A second added: "Generation Sex at Glastonbury 2023 a bit chaotic, shambolic, off-key and all the better for it!"
A third penned: "Billy Idol even dropped the 'C' bomb live on BBC before 5 pm. Magnificent."
A fourth wrote: "Wow! Billy Idol at Glastonbury is so chaotic."
A fifth added: "I don't get why he is wearing a leather jacket in this hot weather, LOL?"
"Billy Idol just casually rocking up in a leather jacket in this heat, is iconic," another wrote.
