The Olympic star has had her husband by her side through her career and he'll also be there when she takes to the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor.
Who is Sam Quek's husband Thomas Mairs?
Sam Quek's husband Thomas Mairs is a property entrepreneur and was even featured on Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire.
He runs his own student housing business in Liverpool.
Starting with one five bedroomed house he rented to his friends, his company has since established itself as one of the largest independently owned student property providers in the North West of England.
The business boasts some of Liverpool's most safe and secure houses and in 2010 they were awarded CLASS accreditation by Liverpool City Council for the safety and quality of their properties.
When did Sam Quek and Thomas Mairs get married?
Sam and Tom have been together for eight years after meeting in a Liverpool bar.
Funnily, the pair had attended the same Grammar school but didn't meet as they were in different year groups.
He is now her biggest support and was seen cheering her on during the Rio Summer Olympics in 2016.
Tom even took the first plane to join Sam when she was a contestant in I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, ready to welcome her upon her exit in 2016.
He told Vicky Pattison and Stacey Solomon on Extra Camp: “I am unbelievably proud of Sam. The thing about Sam is that she has gone into the jungle with some elements and some problems that the other campmates don’t have.
“She’s not used to being on camera all the time and she’s not used to mic packs and she’s not used to those sort of things so to see her flourishing the way she is and the way she is coming across – she’s being so positive.”
Welling up with tears, he continued: “And how well she is doing in the trials it’s just unbelievable but for me tonight and the way she performed was just an unbelievable highlight.
"I am just so so proud of her. The whole family were so so proud of the way she was.”
The couple got engaged in June, 2017, and tied the knot in August, 2018, at Chester Racecourse.
It's expected that Tom will be there to support his wife when she appears on 2024's series of Strictly Come Dancing.
How many children do Sam Quek and Thomas Mairs have?
They welcomed their first child back in March, 2021, after a "traumatic" C-section.
Sam told OK! Magazine, in April, 2021: "We got to 6cm [dilated] at midnight and it went on for hours.
"The consultant kept coming in and I wasn't moving from 6cm. She said, 'Listen, you're absolutely shattered. You've gone through a lot, your waters have been broken for longer than we'd like'."
Tom then remembered: "Sam was like, 'It's time to discuss options.' The baby's head was starting to swell."
After hours of labour, baby Molly Doris was born.
Sam fell pregnant again seven months after her daughter arrived.
She gave birth in March 2022 to a son called Isaac Gregory Mairs.
What's Tom's background?
Hailing from Wirral, in Liverpool, he is the son of a multi-millionaire entrepreneur and is now a financial success in his own right with his own housing business.
He attended Calday Grange Grammar School before studying at the University of Liverpool.
After he finished school his father handed him a million pounds and, rather than squander it on fast cars and fast-living, Tom launched his business – Antona Student Properties – and ended up trebling the cash.
Is he on Instagram?

As a doting dad and loving husband, he frequently shares snaps alongside his children and wife Sam.
