Becky Vardy feared she was stalked by private detectives during Wagatha Christie trial with Coleen Rooney
BECKY Vardy suspected a real-life Hercule Poirot was on her tail during her Wagatha Christie legal fight with Coleen Rooney.
Her fears that she was being stalked by private detectives were raised in papers seen by lawyers and the judge in last year’s High Court showdown.
Becky, 41, wife of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy, grew suspicious when she started to notice problems with her WhatsApps.
She and her friends also feared they were being tracked.
One celeb pal said: “Becky would be out and the security would notice there were cars following them.”
They went on: “One friend noticed vans outside their home that they thought were BT — but they weren’t BT.

"There were a few days when there’d be a man at a bus stop outside the home of one of her friends.
"He’d be there for hours but he never got on a bus. There were so many really odd things.”
Suspicions that a Hercule Poirot had been hired came after Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen, 37, turned detective to find out who was leaking stories about her.
She blamed Becky’s Instagram account.

Their row reignited last week when it emerged Becky was disputing the size of Coleen’s £1.8million legal bill.
Becky’s agent declined to comment while Coleen’s was approached for comment.
There is no suggestion that Team Coleen was involved in tracking her Wagatha rival.
