Hollywood A-lister hires hunky ITV reality star and former Royal Marine to be her bodyguard
ZENDAYA has been spotted several times with a hunky bodyguard in recent weeks - and he might just look familiar.
I can reveal the Hollywood superstar, who is dating British actor Tom Holland, has enlisted the services of an ex-Royal Marine called Joel who was once a contestant on ITV’s Take Me Out.
The handsome man, who was by her side on a shopping trip in London last week and also at a Bulgari event in Venice last month, took part in the 11th series of the dating show in 2019.
Joel, who comes from Kettering, made quite the impression on the ladies, with 24 out of 30 women keeping their lights on for him.
He described himself on TV as a “real life action man looking for an outdoorsy kind of girl, who does also like a cosy night”.
He said he even treats his housework as a military operation – a confession that saw three of the girls instantly switch off their lights.

Speaking to the ladies, he explained: “My shirt is always crisp; my meal is always served on time. I may have a tough job, but I’ll also make the perfect house husband.”
Joel admitted he loves nights out in fancy dress and viewers saw him wear a hot dog costume for a trip to the pub with his mates.
Speaking on the Paddy McGuinness-hosted show, he added: “Let this tough guy show you his soft side.”
Zendaya, believed to be worth more than £16million, has recently had some down time away from acting but will return to the silver screen in in November.

STORMZY will drop a new single this week.
The Vossi Bop rapper, who went to No1 with his album This Is What I Mean in November, is set to release a video tomorrow evening.
The title is secret, but he gave a clue he was ready to put out new music when he reactivated his Instagram account for the first time since his album came out.
He only likes to be on social media when he has tunes to promote.
DUA'S SUMMER RULES
DUA LIPA is ready for the summer after designing a range of gear to wear in the sunshine.
The New Rules singer showed off her slender figure in this tiny polka dot bikini from Versace’s new La Vacanza collection that she helped develop.
Dua was announced as the latest brand ambassador for the luxury fashion house this year after striking up a friendship with boss Donatella Versace.
Sharing this snap online, the superstar wrote: “My summer outfit until further notice.”
But while she may look ready for a day by the pool, Dua is actually hard at work completing her third album.
She has remained tight-lipped about the record but has teased fans by admitting she is taking a new direction away from the sound of her chart-topping second album Future Nostalgia.
But if it’s anything like her belting new song Dance The Night from the Barbie soundtrack, fans will love it.
LYDON IN PISTOLS PUNK ROW
JOHN LYDON has slammed his former Sex Pistols bandmates, claiming they’ve killed the group’s punk legacy.
The ex-frontman fell out with them years ago and was sued for refusing to license their music for the Danny Boyle-directed telly series Pistol, based on guitarist Steve Jones’s memoir Lonely Boy.
John lost his bid to block the use of hits Anarchy In The UK and God Save The Queen.
Asked how he feels about the band’s legacy, he said: “They’ve murdered it.
"They’ve torn it to shreds and taken anything of value and purpose out of it and turned it into a commercial farce.”
He branded Pistol “painful, misguided and misdirected”, adding: “It felt like a script for Grange Hill.”
In newsletter The New Cue, he slammed the band for the 2021 case when now late wife Nora was ill, saying: “They knew Nora was ill, Paul Cook definitely knew, and they showed no care.”
ADELE FLOORS SLY FOR £52m
NOT many people would want to go head-to-head with Sylvester Stallone, but superstar Adele did to get her hands on a statue of the actor.
She bought his £48million mansion in Los Angeles last year and drove such a hard bargain that not only did she get it for almost half the original £90million price tag, she almost pulled out of the deal when he said he’d be taking a statue of his boxing champ movie character Rocky Balboa with him.
The figure looks out over the property’s pool and when asked if he wanted to keep it, he admitted: “I did.”
But in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, he recalled the Hello singer telling him: “That’s a no deal.
"That’s gonna blow the whole deal.”
She has started ripping the six-bedroom home apart for a renovation – but is leaving the statue where it is.
Sly added: “I like what she’s doing, she’s making it gorgeous.”
Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg and Justin and Hailey Bieber are among the neighbours in her new gated community.
Given she is doing such extensive revamp, it might be a while before she gets to move in there with her sports agent fiance, Rich Paul.
But I’m sure it’ll be a real knockout when it’s done.
RICK BACK FOR MOR
RICK ASTLEY and Blossoms are teaming up for a surprise set at Glastonbury to pay tribute to The Smiths.
They have performed the Manchester band’s songs before and will bring the act to the newly-renamed Woodsies stage on Saturday.
The Never Gonna Give You Up singer and the Stockport-based band’s gigs have been praised by former Smiths frontman MORRISSEY.
Yesterday Rick, who will also perform solo on the Pyramid Stage, announced his new album Are We There Yet? will be released on October 6.
THE Pretenders last night also announced a last-minute Glasto show on the Park Stage on Saturday.
Singer Chrissie Hynde, who will release album Relentless with the band in September, said of the huge event: “It’s been there for most of our lifetimes.
"There has never been a festival like it.”
COR’S GUN BLAST FEAR
CORINNE BAILEY RAE was caught up in a shooting while making her new album.
The Put Your Records On singer announced her fourth studio record, Black Rainbows, this week and revealed it was inspired by an arts centre in the US, although she had a dicey moment when she first arrived.
She said of the Stony Island Arts Bank in Chicago: “We were standing outside at 8am.
“I was with my husband, who wanted a coffee, so he went over the road and on the corner were these young boys with no shirts on.
"I was like, ‘Maybe don’t leave me right now’.
“As we were standing there, we heard some shots being fired. No one died in the exchange but that is where this building sits.”
Corinne said her album, out on September 15, is inspired by the centre’s exhibits on black history.

She added: “This record is a bit of a weirdo, I’m aware of that and I’m happy with that.
“It’s all tied together by this golden thread of everything being inspired by the objects and the events in the Bank.”
