TV HOST Helen Skelton is pregnant with her second child, we can reveal.

The former Blue Peter star, 33, and hubbie Richie Myler announced the news yesterday with a photo of son Ernie with a card reading: “Ready for my partner in crime.”

The caption of the Twitter snap read: “Three set to become four.”

Sources close to the couple say they are delighted to be expecting another child.

One said: “They are excited Ernie will have a brother or sister. It’s due in Spring 2017.”

Recently Helen revealed she no longer counts calories like she did in her twenties.

 magazine, she said: “I spent most of my twenties watching my weight and I don’t want to live my life by numbers now.

“I don’t think you ever walk out in a dress and think, ‘I feel amazing because I weigh 9st’. You either feel good or you don’t.”

The former Blue Peter presenter is famous for taking on extreme challenges, including running an 80-mile Ultra Marathon in the Namibian Dessert.

She said: “Before I started training, I couldn’t run for 10 minutes. I trained for three months and my coach took me from zero [miles] to 80 in three months.

“It took a lot of effort but if I can do it, anyone can!”

These days Helen focuses on fitting in shorter bursts of activity like Hiit and yoga while caring for her young son Ernie.

“I do it when Ernie wakes up at all sorts of hours’ And Ernie is already joining in ‘We call him Yogi Baby – he gets into a Downward Dog and shakes a leg – it’s so cute!” she revealed.
