X Factor sources said the men - aged between 20 and 30 - had got into the audience by pretending to have disabilities.

They then all stormed the stage when Honey G was rapping.

Police and X Factor bosses are believed to have asked the contestant if she felt she had been assaulted during the stage invasion as they decide what action to take.

A show source said: "Honey is shaken but OK. The police arrived quickly and she was asked if she felt any sort of assault had taken place.
