Mrs Hinch rushes son to hospital in ambulance as his temperature spikes and neck swells
MRS Hinch has rushed her eldest son Ronnie to hospital after a terrifying health scare.
The social media star, 33, told her fans that the little one, three, was taken to A&E after his temperature shot up and his neck started to swell.
The influencer, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, updated her followers and apologised for the radio silence in recent days.
"Everything just seems like a fog right now," she began. "Ron's temp spiked to over 40 and his neck was swelling, limited head movements. I couldn't keep meds or fluids in him."
Sophie, who also has a younger son Lennie, continued: "We were taken to A&E and sent home with antibiotics and it just didn't feel right. My gut told me no."
After calling 111, they were taken back into hospital and this time admitted onto the ward.
"Since having IV antibiotics we are seeing a really really slow improvement but we will be in here for a little longer yet, as we need to get his temperature satisfactory and need the antibiotics to kick in."
Sophie went on to explain how the experience had left her shaken.
"Nothing prepares you for something like this does it," she told her army of admirers on instagram. "Just being on a childrens' ward, seeing so many innocent little arms bandaged with cannulas. I just can't comprehend this whole thing."
After thanking her fans for all their support, she added "What I wouldn't give to be back home with all my boys."
Sophie - who is best mates with Stacey Solomon - also shared how, despite the stressful experience, poorly Ron was impressed by the ambulance trip.
"Ron smiled away in the ambulance, " she recalled. "Loved seeing all the buttons and wires and now thinks his cannula is his own little wire of magic."
Sophie concluded the post: "What did we ever do to deserve children. They make this world so beautiful."
