He jokingly added: I’ll just stay here in the p*****g rain and look after the puppy.”

Just days earlier, Luke had posted a picture of himself looking sad with little Bonnie.

The loved up couple have been inseparable since they first got together and Scarlett’s time in the jungle is the first time the pair have been apart for a long stretch of time.

Scarlett’s made no secret of the fact she’d love to wed Luke, revealing they’d visited a jewellers before she left.

She told The Mirror: “I pointed out which one I liked and what my ring size is, just so Luke knows which one to get in the future.

“If that isn’t a hint, I don’t know what is.”

Referring to the hunk as "her cup of tea", the couple are already living together in Newcastle and he's even appeared on Gogglebox alongside Scarlett and her family.

Meanwhile back in the UK, Scarlett's fellow Gogglebox stars are less than pleased after after she left the show to jet off to do the ITV reality series.

The Sun Online revealed that she will return to the Channel 4 telly commentary show once her stint is over, and now her co-stars are considering striking because of the preferential treatment she's received.

A show insider tells The Sun Online: “The cast aren’t happy that Scarlett’s getting preferential treatment.

“Since day one of the show, all the families have been allowed to do minimal media appearances and interviews to remain as relatable as possible – which is why you rarely read about the other families.
