After losing the latest Bushtucker trial the Homes Under the Hammer star must return to the other 'subjects' and he isn't happy
MARTIN Roberts just can’t help rubbing the other campmates up the wrong way.
His time in the Royal camp was brief, and he lost his place when he went head to head with Ola Jordan in the Bush Brewer trial.
So he had to head back to join the other ‘subjects’ and back to a ration of beans – which of course he didn’t like, and made sure everyone knew about it.
As soon as he got back, he was thrown straight into work when Carol Vorderman announced that they now had to assign two subjects to take on today’s royal duties.
“It’s not going to be me, I’m not going to do it, why would I do that, it’s like rubbing salt into the wound” Martin said.
Challenging him Scarlett Moffatt said: “Think of it this way, you’ve already had the royal treatment and luxury for one night, we should pull sticks if no-one wants to do it.”
They all agreed to let the sticks decide and those who picked the yellow topped sticks would be the servants. Carol picked the first and Martin picked the second yellow stick!
“Oh how the mighty fall!” said Lisa.
Martin said: “Not only have I slipped from power but I’ve gone right to the bottom and now having to wait on the new royals.
Danny told him not to worry, “It was a privilege doing it yesterday, it was a right laugh.”
‘’Yes but they had you, how on earth are we to follow you, I will be the complete opposite, ‘what the **** do you want?’’ Martin joked.
The boot was on the other foot for Martin when he drew the wrong coloured stick and found himself to be servant to the royals.
Rubbing his hands together he said: “The royal may have slipped from his throne but with Machiavellian evil, I am plotting my revenge!””
Ola called the camp to ask for chores to be undertaken.
Martin answered and said “You are speaking to Martin, ex disposed royal.” as he put the phone down.
Ola called back and got Carol this time. “I would like my backpack please and Martin needs to come and pick his stuff up.”
Martin and Carol headed over to the royal camp and Martin said: “We drew straws over who would be your servant and unlucky for you, you got me! Would I volunteer, really, noooo.”
Lying on his comfortable bed, Adam asked his servant Martin to fetch him some water.
Martin fetched a bowl full of water then deliberately tripped spilling it all over Adam’s bed and soaking it. “You did that on purpose,” chuckled Adam. “I didn’t, I tripped, I’m so sorry!’’
Vowing revenge Adam joked: “He got me, he is in for it…Martin – run and hide!”
Adam and Wayne visited the main camp and explained the royals had earlier completed a Dingo Dollar
challenge and they’d won the challenge which meant they could share or eat chocolate with them.
Adam and Wayne announced they’d be sharing the chocolate with camp – everyone cheered.
“We are sharing the chocolate so will call you up one by one to share the little bit of milk chocolate we have.” said Wayne.
The campmates were called up one by one to get their small piece of chocolate, Scarlett was called first. “We stood there and called everyone up one by one to give them their piece of chocolate.” said Wayne.
“Thank you for your kindness.” said Carol as she took her chocolate.
Adam then called up Martin….
Wayne said “Then to get Martin back for throwing water over Adam and stuffing feathers and ants etc in his pillow case….”
Adam went to give Martin his chocolate but ate it himself instead.
“Told you, payback was gonna be a bitch didn’t I.” said Adam. Everyone laughed including Martin.
“Adam, the night is going to be very long for you.” said Martin.
“Bring it on Martin, bring it on.” laughed Adam.
