Michael Buble’s cancer-stricken son Noah gets the ultimate Christmas present from his aunty – a sold out Hatchimal

Noah’s aunt Brandee did everything she could to make sure he got the perfect present for Christmas

MICHAEL Buble’s sister has pulled out all the stops to make sure her nephew Noah, who’s battling cancer, has the best Christmas possible.

Brandee Buble revealed she’d managed to track down a Hatchimal – one of the most in-demand gifts of 2016– and said she couldn’t wait for Noah to find it underneath the Christmas tree.

Michael and his wife Luisana Lopilato previously revealed their son Noah had been diagnosed with liver cancer in an emotional statement online.

Brandee shared a picture of the sought after Hatchimal, a robot type creature that hatches from an egg, on Instagram and told her followers she’d gone to great lengths to find it.

She wrote next to her picture of the gift: “Spent hours looking at every possible store that sold toys in Vancouver.

“Got on waiting lists, only to find one on Craigslist, an hour away from where we live & twice the price...but we got Noah the Hatchimal that I promised him!

Earlier this month it was revealed Noah was having chemotherapy, which was due to last four months.

According to Argentinian magazine Gente, doctors have told Noah’s concerned parents that his chances of beating it are “90 per cent”.

Leading medic and Sun Doctor Carol Cooper revealed Noah could be facing an operation following his course of chemotherapy to remove the tumour.

She said: “Many liver tumours are benign, but this little lad’s tumour is cancer and needs chemo.

“The most common type of liver cancer in young children is hepatoblastoma, and as with many other cancers the outlook depends a lot on whether it has spread.

“In most cases chemo is used before surgery. The aim is to shrink the cancer and deal with any cells that have spread. After chemo, surgeons then remove any remaining tumour.

“The doctors who’ve given the Buble family 90 per cent odds of beating the disease won’t have plucked an optimistic number out of the air. They will have based their prediction on known statistics of this type of cancer. No treatment comes with a guarantee, but this figure will no doubt offer hope to the family at a very tough time.”

Dr Carol revealed treatment is similar for most PRETEXT stages, with chemo given first to shrink the tumour, as well as any metastatic tumours, before surgery would usually take place after “a few weeks”.

Noah was diagnosed on November 1 after medics carried out a liver biopsy, following an examination at a clinic in Buenos Aires.

Luisana’s elder sister Daniela told Argentinian magazine Gente recently: “Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this.

“We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it’s got to be done.

“They say children are normally strong to put up with chemotherapy and my nephew is a warrior.”

Michael and Luisana confirmed Noah’s diagnosis in an emotional statement earlier in November.

It read: “We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US.

“We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.

“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.

“At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy.

“We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”
