What’s on TV tonight? Shows to watch on Friday 2 December including Walliams & Friends and The Graham Norton Show
WHAT can't you miss on TV tonight? Our guide to the must-see shows...
Walliams & Friend, 9.30pm, BBC One
Comedy stalwart Harry Enfield stars as David’s Friend this week, and the pair storm through some daft sketches designed to max out the Friday-night giggles.
In a spoof version of MasterChef, Harry plays an extremely fussy Gregg Wallace, who regurgitates the contestants’ culinary efforts and brands every dish “disgusting”.
Best of the lot is Harry’s turn as the Queen, who takes part in Who Does One Think One Is? – an aptly titled parody of the BBC genealogy show Who Do You think You Are?.
When Her Majesty is told that her father was George VI, she exclaims: “From The King’s Speech? My father is Colin Firth?”
The guest cast includes Morgana Robinson, who crops up in a hilarious take on a dodgy betting hotline. Well worth a watch with plenty of laughs.
QI, 10pm, BBC Two
Host Sandi Toksvig (centre) wishes us all good ‘Night’ as the N-themed series continues. Tonight, Noel Fielding (second left) joins the slumber party, so expect some typically surreal stuff.
Plus, the excellent Holly Walsh and always reliable David Mitchell (second right and right) don their pyjamas to swap interesting facts – and listen out for Alan Davies (left) sounding the klaxon, of course.
The Graham Norton Show, 10.35pm, BBC One
Back in May, Jennifer Lawrence (left) was on Graham’s sofa talking about weeing into a funnel, while the year before, Chris Pratt (right) showed off his TOWIE accent.
The Passengers actors team up for more laughs tonight as TV Magazine columnist Jamie Oliver and pop star Emeli Sandé complete a typically fab line-up.
NEW! Building The World’s Most Luxurious Cruise Ship, 9pm, Channel 5
When you’re paying £8,000 a night for a stay on the Seven Seas Explorer, you expect luxury; serious, never-before-seen luxury.
So it’s up to project manager Pierluigi Punter to deliver the best possible service for his customers on this new ship.
But it’s a race against time to finish the build, as its maiden voyage is sold out.
