Kanye West’s security surround UCLA Medical Center as sources reveal Kim’s robbery may have sparked ‘breakdown’
KANYE West’s security team have been pictured surrounding the UCLA Medical Center which the rapper has been admitted to.
The five body guards were canvassing the facility where the superstar is currently being treated for a 'temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.’
The increased security presence comes after wife Kim Kardashian returned to Los Angeles to support her husband.
People magazine claim that Kim’s gunpoint robbery in Paris has played a part in the rappers 'breakdown'.
A source told the US publication: “All those things contribute to his stress level, exhaustion and lack of sleep.”
Kanye was admitted to the facility on Monday after “acting erratically” at the home of his personal trainer Harley Pasternak.
It was reported the rapper was “handcuffed” to a stretcher after a call was made to the emergency services at 1:20PM for a “medical emergency.”
The incident occurred 24 hours after the 39-year-old stormed off stage in Sacramento and cancelled the remaining 21 dates of his Saint Pablo world tour.
Kim's mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have also rushed back to LA to support the rapper.
The trio were pictured boarding a private plane from New York on Tuesday.
Talking at The Angel Ball in New York on Monday, Kris said: “He’s exhausted, he’s just really tired.
“He’s had a gruelling tour and it’s been a grind so he just needs some rest.”
A source close to the rapper : “He’s having a nervous breakdown. He’s surrounded by all these crazy people, but there’s nobody he listens to or who can rein him in.
“He’s spiralling further and further out of control… he is becoming more and more unpredictable.”
Another source claimed Kanye was burned out from juggling his fashion line and music.
They revealed: “He’s just exhausted. He’s been working around the clock on fashion design… balancing both that work and the rigours of the tour every night . . . really wore him out.”
