The former Countdown host took to her social media on Sunday to show off her moved as she lifted weights in the gym.

Carol, 62, who is no stranger to showing off her stunning figure online, donned an all-black workout set for her latest video.

The star looked in good form as she revealed her tiny waistline and toned behind in the figure-hugging leggings and long-sleeved top.

She pulled her blonde locks up into a messy ponytail as she went make-up free for the tricky workout on Sunday.

Carol could be seen performing a plank movement as well as weighted squats and kettlebell swings for the camera.

Rewarding herself, she then headed out for a slice of cake in her workout gear and sat in the sunshine.

"Sunday Bristol style with yours truly," Carol penned. "5am sitting listening to the birds outside. 6am carried on working on a synopsis for a book I'm working writing.

"9am off the the gym for a sesh," she added.

Her friends and fans flooded the comments section to brand Carol a "true inspiration" as they gushed over her as "gorgeous".

It comes after Carol wowed fans as she performed a sexy dance to Shake It Off in a BBC radio studio yesterday.

She wore a white shirt which she tied at the middle to show off her trim waist as she danced for the camera.

She was seen beaming as she shimmied in front of the male while wriggling her bum around.

Carol mouthed the words to Taylor Swift hit Shake It Off during the lively video, which she filmed as part of her Kitchen Disco radio segment.

Her latest boogie came shortly after she strutted her stuff in a skintight dress on the This Morning set.

The maths whizz, who recently appeared on I'm A Celebrity South Africa, regularly stars on the ITV morning show.

Along with co-star Alison Hammond, who looked stunning in a floral two-piece, the pair danced along to We Like To Party by the Vengaboys.
