Gemma Atkinson replaced on radio show by three top TV celebs as she prepares to go on maternity leave
GEMMA Atkinson is set to be replaced on Hits Radio when she leaves by a trio of stars.
The DJ, 38, will be heading off on maternity leave this week and her show will be kept afloat with the help of some very famous faces.
Christine McGuinness, Brooke Vincent and Kerry Katona have all been lined up to fill her shoes after impressing radio bosses.
Insiders say the women are in talks to take to the helm while Gemma has her second child.
Gemma usually presents the drive time show with Mike Toolan on Hits Radio every weekday.
A source said: “It’s a really exciting time for the radio show. Of course everyone is going to really miss Gemma but they’ve got some big names on board.

“It’s a big gig for Christine and Brooke and meetings have gone really well with bosses, so it looks likely all three names will be taking part.”
The final line up is set to be announced next Thursday.
The mum-to-be announced she was pregnant with her second child in February.
Gemma and her partner Gorka Maquez announced the happy news on Instagram.
The pair met when the actress took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.
They are already parents to a daughter called Mia and are looking forward to welcoming a little boy.
