THIS Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has suggested that the show's sofas might have special fertility powers.

The cheeky host joked that his co-presenter Holly Willoughby was helped to conceive her three children over the past few years thanks to the seats on the set.

The This Morning duo had been interviewing Strictly Come Dancing star Louise Redknapp who had revealed she would love to have another child which led to the topic of fertility coming up.

Phil joked: "We look forward to having you on the sofa again... when you announce you are pregnant again. Actually funny thing is - I don't know if it used to be the old sofas - but everyone used to get pregnant.

"[Holly] used to always get pregnant. I got rid of the sofas."

Holly couldn't help but burst out laughing as she suggested to Louise: "Maybe you should come and had around here for a couple of days."

Strictly favourite Louise had opened up about her comments in a recent interview with The Sun in which she spoke about how her dance partner Kevin Clifton was seen as a 'fertility king' to his celebrity dance partners.

Louise explained: "The joke is that Kevin is the lucky charm for his partners because a few of them have gone on to get pregnant after being on the show with him.

"I mentioned that I wanted to have a girl and now the pressure is on for him... and me. I feel like I need have a baby afterwards as well."

 Holly couldn't help but burst out laughing as she suggested to Louise: "Maybe you should come and had around here for a couple of days."

She continued: "It's known that I didn't get pregnant with my first son easily. It took me 4 years to have him, the second one 4 weeks - for me with another baby I don’t take it for granted, but it’s not something I’d rule out. If it happens, we’ll see.

Louise also spoke about her excitement to do the Strictly tour as she said: "I'll be doing the tour as well. I just thought the tour would be fab because I can take my kids along. It's a great opportinity to take everyone down with me and get them involved."
